On February 4, 2013 FEMA posted information on their website that they were not going
to revise the National Flood Insurance Program's Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines (FEMA F-083), but on
the contrary were going to rescind it due to many of the guidelines becoming obsolete with the passage of
The Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012.
